Several cases of COVID-19 have been linked to JustAGame in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The fieldhouse hosts a variety of sporting tournaments including basketball and volleyball. The recent cases have been linked to a volleyball tournament that was held in early July.

The Fox47 website received emails on Friday, August 7, from a "coach whose team participated in a tournament at JustAGame." Within the emails, one from JustAGame owner Kyler Royston, it was revealed that someone within the facility tested positive for COVID-19. According to Royston, the fieldhouse will "continue with [their] prior guidelines and as an added precaution are now also requiring all individuals to wear a mask while inside the facilities with the exception of players, coaches, and officials when a game is in progress." This added precaution coincides with the recent Mask Mandate issued by Gov. Tony Evers.

Royston was contacted by the Columbia County Health Department in regards to the recent COVID-19 cases. Within the emails received by Fox47, the coach was also contacted by a nurse from the Sauk County Health Department. The Fox47 website states "in the email, the nurse said the coach's team played against two individuals from another team that had tested positive for coronavirus." Both Columbia County Health Department and Sauk County Health Department are investigating coronavirus cases related to sporting tournaments.

Royston stated that the facility plans on moving forward with any scheduled tournaments and, according to an article from Fox47, "a liability waiver for JustAGame indicates the company is not responsible for issues such as physical injuries or illness."

JustAGame fieldhouse has no relation to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA), "which is the group that monitors high school sports in the state" (Fox47). Nearby schools, including the newly built Wisconsin Dells High School, have not reported their fall sport plans.

In an interview with Patch editor, Buxbaum stated that they have “[...] about 400 games in [their] library” with family-friendly and inclusive...

Starting on December 1, users will no longer be presented with an option to list their sexual orientation, their political views, their address, or their religious views on their personal profiles. Facebook did not provide an explanation for this decision. The decision was announced one week after Meta, the parent company of Facebook, fired 11,000 employees, 13% of its total workforce; whether or not these two events are correlated, however, remains unclear.
