The Emo Night Tour is Coming to Joliet!

On August 2, 2022, The Emo Night Tour announced the dates for their “RAWR!-ing 20's Tour” on their Instagram account. They will be performing around the United States in 40 different venues, with one of the shows being in Joliet, IL, at The Forge on September 3, 2022.

"The Emo Night Tour DJs will be spinning all the angst your teenage dirtbag heart desires all night long," their Facebook page states, "and will make you feel like you're at Warped Tour '08 minus all the dust and melting in the sun!"

The show primarily features pop-punk music, but a DJ chooses what to play by tailoring the set to the crowd's energy. With nostalgic songs on the list from popular bands such as Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, and much more, The Emo Night Tour brings many people to the show.

The show will be held at The Forge in downtown Joliet, a live music concert venue that hosts live bands and other acts for all ages. It was opened in April of 2017 and is available to rent to host music any night of the week.

This will be The Emo Night Tour's second time performing in Joliet, with the first being May 20, 2022. With hundreds of people attending last time, The Emo Night Tour anticipates seeing a huge crowd again in September.

 Frank Piegari  Hello Saints! With Thanksgiving and finals right around the corner, there is no shortage of things to do this week at the University of Saint Francis. To kick things off tonight (11/28), the Justice League will be hosting another Tabletop Game Night beginning at 7 p.m. in Motherhouse room C305. But that's not all we have. Beginning at 7 p.m., the Asian American Student Association will be hosting a Filipino Family Night in the Abbey Lounge located in Marion Hall. Morton Arboretum Holds their 10th Annual "Illumination" Tree Light Exhibit

By: Hannah Mitchell Due: 12/6/22 Join the Morton Arboretum this holiday season for the 10th annual Illumination: Tree Lights exhibit during its 100th anniversary year. The exhibit is available from November 19th through January 7th, 2023 opening up at 4:30 pm and closing at 8:30 each night. According to mortonarb.org , “...guests will explore 18 different features along a tree-lined one-mile walking trail immersed in color, light and sound created exclusively for The Morton Arboretum.” Guests will most definitely get their movement in for the day with this event.
