Maybe a fifth time is the charm for a Joliet man facing his fifth DUI. Jeffery Bick, a resident on the 600 Block of Ida Street, was booked into the Will County Jail around 12:30 in the morning on August 19, 2020. According to Bick’s criminal complaint his prior four DUI’s were all in Will County on November 1, 2018, April 16, 2016, April 13, 2010, and September 1, 2001. Now, Bick finds himself unable to pay the 10% ($25,000) of his bail, which is $250,000 total, in order to gain his freedom after being caught under the heavy influence of alcohol. Bick was driving his red Pontiac Grad-AM at the time and his official charge is two felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence per the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office of Jim Glasgow.
